What is There To Do?

Have you been hearing this a lot? I have. O.M.G. have I heard this! Summer is starting to wear down and the summer activities are fewer and far between. Add that to "I've played with my brother for the last two months and now I hate him", and you have one bored group of children.

This week the Ocean Shores Library is stepping it up. Thursday they are hosting their annual pet show, starting at 11 am. That night, they'll be showing The Croods (review here!) for free at 5:00pm. Finally, if your teen has been hitting the OS library, they can spend their "library dollars" on Saturday, 6pm.

There is also a Kite "Fly In", this weekend in Ocean Shores.

The Aberdeen parks department continues their Park and Play on Mondays and Wednesday, 10-2pm until the last week of August.

The Grays Harbor YMCA is still offering their array of programs. A new session of swimming lessons starts on Monday and there is still family swim daily from noon til 1 and Recreational swimming from 1-5:30pm (slide opens at 2pm). There are still a few day hiking trips scheduled - call to sign up.

Their fall brochure is up, so if you're looking for something during the school year, check it out now. Some classes fill up fast.

Grays Harbor Dance is holding a registration party on Aug. 17th.

If you know of an event or an activity with sign up deadline coming up, let me know!
